I was born between two rivers, in the shadow of Romania’s mountains—where winters were filled with folklore and the rhythm of my grandmother’s sewing machine became a kind of lullaby. My earliest memories arrive in textures and colors: a blue notebook filled with imagined dresses, the weight of fabric in my hands, the quiet pull toward making.
My passion for textiles took root early and has never let go. I am equally drawn to the rich histories that shape this ancient craft and the bold possibilities that lie ahead—always searching for what is timeless, and what has yet to be discovered.
That curiosity led me to a BFA in Fabric Design from the University of Georgia, with studies at the Kawashima Textile School in Kyoto, and an MFA in Textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of leading creative initiatives and collaborating with visionary teams at Tiffany & Co., Microsoft Research, Disney, Diane von Furstenberg, Milliken & Company, Converse, and many more.
In recent years, my work has turned toward the world of interiors—where I help shape textile collections through woven, printed, and constructed textiles. I lead design direction and collection development, partnering with cross-functional teams to guide projects from concept to execution. With a refined eye and a deep respect for craft, I bring both creative leadership and strategic clarity to every collaboration.
I believe in textiles as storytellers—objects that live with us, that hold memory, and that elevate the spaces we move through. My practice bridges tradition and innovation—guided by curiosity, shaped by hand, and rooted in a quiet pursuit of beauty and meaning.
